Trips include tanks, weights and belt, bottled soft drinks and purified drinking water.

We put you in the care of one of our certified, in-water Divemaster guides. His primary duty is leading you and your group on safe, pleasurable dives.

On two-tank trips, the maximum depth is 60 to 90 feet on the first dive, and 30 to 60 feet on the second.

Posted prices do not include a 27 peso per day usage fee (about US$2-$2.25). This  is charged to anyone taking part in water activities inside the National Marine Park. During check-in with Dive Paradise, this fee must be paid in cash for all scheduled dives.

Before diving, complete the "Diver's Information Sheet" (available in our main office or download below).
Diver's Information Sheet (PDF format)

Children under ten are not allowed on dive trips.
All Dive Paradise boats on "Caribbean" trips are equipped with a sundeck and a full-sized head (AKA bathroom, loo, baño or potty - for those who don't speak "boat.")

The gunnels (sides) are low for easy giant stride entries.

All boats offer convenient dive platforms. Getting out of the water is as easy as getting in.
A certification card (C-Card) is required. The ONLY exception is for a group, where the certifying instructor has exclusive use of the boat, and the instructor is responsible for his or her students.
Dive Computers - Dive Paradise is proud to be a PADI training facility. We follow the PADI Recreational Dive Planner (tables) on all dives, except for special, dedicated computer trips.

We conduct all dives in "divemaster-escorted groups." As a result, we cannot use computers as a primary tool for planning maximum depth and bottom time. The divemaster can make exceptions, provided each diver has a computer and is skilled in its use. Please ask your divemaster for such exceptions when you board the boat.

Nitrox is available at an additional US$10.00 per tank. Proof of Nitrox training required.
Re-compression Services
Dive Paradise is affiliated with the Meditur hyperbaric facility. The chamber is located on Calle 6 Norte (6th Street North) #135, between 5th Ave. and 10th Ave. It's connected with the hospital "Clinica San Miguel." Dr. Pascual Piccolo is the presiding hyperbaric physician and general practitioner.
Meditur Chamber

All divers are advised to obtain DAN insurance. Dive Assure and PADI are also recognized. If you have questions about the chamber or insurance coverage, feel free to contact us.
On our "Caribbean" Boat trips, the ride to your first dive site takes from 45 to 90 minutes. Relax and enjoy the ride! Your divemaster-guide will assign tanks 20 minutes before the boat reaches the dive site. You'll have plenty of time to "gear up."

Remember, our divemasters are there to help you. Don't hesitate to ask questions or discuss pre-dive anxieties. Want a crewmember to pass you a camera or gear once you're in the water? All you have to do is ask. Are you a novice or inexperienced at ocean diving? Feel free to ask for help or tips. Has it been a while since you last took the plunge? We recommend our two- to four-hour "Scuba Refresher" Course.
